Hello and welcome back to another movie review of the week. This past week I had the privilege of seeing a Bollywood movie titled Crimson Red Sky or as it’s called in Indian Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. For those of you unfamiliar with what Bollywood, it is the Indian Hollywood and it’s becoming more and more popular. Crimson Red Sky was one of the best movies I’ve seen this past year. Like a lot of Bollywood movies, Crimson Red Sky had superb acting, great writing, an explosive soundtrack that blended very well, great editing, and a great plot and plot twist. One of the few problems I had with the movie was it’s length of two hours and 30 minutes. When a movie is that long, it’s difficult for the audience to (1) stay awake and (2) be able to keep up. While I would recommend that you go see this movie, it was only in theaters for one day, sadly. But I would give it a solid 3.5 out of 4 and two big thumbs up.
