With the end of the pandemic seemingly insight people will obviously be spending less time at home and less time on video games. This, however, has not stopped Call of Duty from releasing a huge new update to its smashing success Warzone. Warzone is a free-to-play battle royal game. According to the Warzone FAQ page, it says, “Warzone is the new massive combat arena within Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, completely free for all players, across all available platforms. Explore a massive battleground with two new modes to play – a Battle Royale mode and Plunder, an all-new frenetic fight for cold-hard Cash – experience the signature Modern Warfare gameplay with up to 150 players. With all the success it has and the very massive active player base it has received tons of good reviews and its fair share of critiques. The update went live on February 24th on some platforms ahead of the full Black Ops Cold War Season 2 release time on February 25th. Shipwreck was also added to the massive map of Verdansk, Russia where this fictional battle royal is taking place with multiple easter eggs including the addition of zombies into the game. New guns such as theFARA 83 – AR, Unlocked via Battle Pass Tier 15, LC10 – SMG, Unlocked via Battle Pass Tier 31, and Machete – Melee, Unlocked via Weapon Challenge or Store Bundle. When I asked Matthew Donnely if he liked Warzone he said it was his favorite game to play whenever he had free time to do so.
