Aaron Abrahamson Breaks 3 Point Record

The Eagles’ basketball season did not end the way the team wanted, but there were some bright spots. For one player in particular, it was very special.  Senior Aaron Abrahamson broke the LCA single season 3-point record with 94 threes in an outstanding season this year. Throughout the season, Aaron has gone out on the court and proved all of the doubters wrong. Coming into the year Aaron had little varsity playing time but that did not stop him from having an amazing season. Teammate Zeke Grier, 12, said “Aaron is one of best shooters I have ever seen and he will do great things at Asbury.”

With an incredible performance comes incredible opportunities as Aaron will get the chance to play basketball at Asbury University. Aaron plans to play basketball for Asbury and maybe he can break a few records there as well. As Drew Johnson, 11, said “I’m extremely proud of Aaron because he worked hard all off-season. Aaron was a great teammate and I’m so happy for him.” Even though all of his teammates are rooting for him as he moves to the next level, they know he will be dearly missed for basketball next season. As everyone is proud of him for his accomplishments he had a huge influence on the underclassman. As Andrew Dollus,11, said “He worked hard everyday and it was a huge inspiration for us all.”
