Mug cake is just one option for creative cooking at home.

All restaurants are closed for dine in and it is risky to leave the house, this means most of the meals we eat are home cooked. There are so many easy recipes that anyone can for a fast yummy meal. Tik Tok has introduced this one website called foodcombo.com. They give you a list of foods and you check off the ones you have at home. They then proceed to give you recipes you can make with the food you checked off. Kayla Corbin, 10 said “ When I saw this on Tik Tok I knew I had to try it, and it was surprisingly easy and gave me something to do.”

Disney has many delicious foods at their park. Now that the parks are closed they decided to post a recipe on how to make their famous churrors. Everyone can now enjoy a little taste of Disney from their own home. Jacob Morgan, 10 “I love to cook and when I saw all these videos of people making them i decided to try it. A really easy recipe that only takes ten minutes to make is a mug cake. You can find these recipes everywhere all you need is 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, Pinch of salt, optional, 3 tablespoons milk, 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, Splash vanilla extract, optional, 3 tablespoons chocolate chips. You mix it all together in a 12oz mug and put it in the microwave for 90 seconds on high. Mia Bond, 10 said “I was really in the mood for something with chocolate and this mug cake was really easy. The cake was really fluffy and rich.”
