The Upside of Quarantines for Pets

Many people have more time to walk their pets while they are “being healthy at home.”

If anyone is happy about the recent school closings and quarantine rules, it is the pets in our lives. They get to spend all day with their families now. Pets in our households are getting more attention than ever. They are being walked daily. They are being fed on-demand. Our pets have no idea what’s going on in the world, but they are extremely ecstatic.

Caring for our pets has not become too increasingly difficult during this time. If anything, it has become easier. Since people are not leaving the house as much, it leaves little to no time for a pet to destroy the house without human supervision. People can clean up after their pets right away if they make a mess. Pets are being fed right when they need their food. Although it is a simpler time for our furry friends right now, they are going to be very confused and frankly just sad when things return to normal.

Enjoy the time you have with your animals now, because hopefully this quarantine will be over with quickly and we can return to our normal lives of leaving the house.
