Famous rapper/singer Post Malone interrupted his performance last Friday to assure worried fans he is doing well after rumors online spread of him possibly doing drugs.

Many of Post Malone’s fans had taken to different social media outlets, such as Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, to spread videos of the rapper acting erratically and seemingly inebriated. In these videos, he was seen to have been struggling to pick up a microphone, slurring his words, rolling his eyes dramatically for long periods of time while performing, and even falling.

One worried fan took to Twitter, saying in a now removed tweet, “You can’t sit there and tell me this is normal behavior from Post, it’s not and the man needs help before something bad happens to him. Whether it’s alcohol or drugs… he’s abusing them. It’s too much now, people are worried.”

Dre London, Post Malone’s manager, as well as his tour photographer, Adam DeGross, reassured everyone that the rapper’s actions were nothing more than an act to rile the fans up at his shows.

“This has been one of the most fun tours we’ve been on,” said DeGross. “No one does drugs, no one is going nuts, everything is all good.”

In response, at his Memphis, Tennessee concert on March 6, 2020, he reassured any anxious fans by saying, “I’m not on drugs and I feel the best I’ve [ever felt] in my life. And that’s why I can [give my all] for these shows, and [fall on] the floor, and do all of [those fun things].”

Malone is nearing the end of his U.S. tour dates and is set to head for Europe for eight more shows. In addition to this, he is expected to release an album by the end of this year, according to XXL Mag.
