Junior Aaron Bruner founded Kentucky Food Ministries, a ministry to the homeless to help them through their hard walks of life. The ministry gives food and prays with the homeless in the downtown Lexington Area. This ministry has helped many LCA students grow in their faith. As Mrs. Jasper said “You don’t need an international trip to be able to serve and love your neighbor, and these students have caught a vision of living their lives on a mission.” This ministry has shown students can make an impact close to home by just devoting some of their time.  In ways that are not difficult, these students are really helping others. These students have a mission to build their faith, serve the Lord, and make a difference in the community and represent LCA and themselves in an image of Christ. With works like these, the Lexington community can be changed for the better.
