The Eagles volleyball team played the George Rogers Clark Cardinals at home on September 5. They won all 3 sets with scores of 25-14, 25-19, and 25-18. This was a good team win for the Eagles and the players hope to continue the winning streak this weekend in the all “A’ classic. Sophomore Tucker Patterson said “It was a good win. It was nice to have a game where we won all 3 sets and we hope to play well this weekend.”

Thursday’s win pushes the team record record this season to 3 wins and 3 losses. The team has high hopes for this season and players think they have a chance to make a deep run in the all “A” tournament. The  teams starts the tournament facing Berea on Saturday Sept. 7.  With a win, they play Sayre and hope to take home the title for the all “A” classic. Sophomore Elijah Hammond says, ” I believe our volleyball team has the tools necessary to do well this weekend.”
