Last week, rumor spread around the school that our local Chick-fil-A was going to offer all-day chicken minis. The story spread through social media and the news was groundbreaking for students, many of whom are big fans of the tiny chicken sandwiches. Anxious to take advantage of the new offering, students had to see for themselves if Lexington Chick-fil-As were really selling minis  all day. Senior Cameron Smith made an after school trip and was shocked by what he learned. He said, “When I asked for my minis, I was told they only sold them until 10:30.” The rumor was proven to be a hoax. An LCA student who works at Chick-fil-A confirmed that the rumor was false and provided an explanation. “Chicken minis take to long to make for an all-day option.”  While many students were disappointed, at least one did not take any notice of the story. Zeke Grier, 12, explains “I don’t like Chick-fil-A anyway.”

The rest of the student body who does enjoy Chick-fil-A and especially chicken minis will just have to be satisfied with enjoying them in the morning.
