Apex Legends is yet another Battle Royale game that has come into the video game universe and has taken over as one of the most popular games among children and adults around the globe. Much like Fortnite, it is a battle to the death between multiple squads, and there will be multiple seasons. There are many legends in the game that players can choose as their skin each game such as: Bangalore, Bloodhound, Caustic, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Mirage, Pathfinder, and Wraith. These legends all have a certain special ability that sets them apart from the others, for example: Mirage can create a mirage of himself that the enemies will shoot at thinking that it is him. There are usually around 20 squads of three in each game, and there are no more than 60 total players in a game. Unlike Fortnite, Apex Legends is a first-person shooter game. Players can level up their legend and unlock new skins for guns and legends. These 60 player, 20 plus squad matches always end with either one legend winning, or a squad of legends winning. Many believe that the best part about this game is that players can respawn their teammates who have been killed. There are respawn stations placed around the map where players can go to bring other legends back into the game after they have been killed. The game has received a good response from LCA players.  Senior Baylor Brown says, “Apex Legends is my favorite game right now, and it is 100 percent better than Fortnite.” Apex Legends has taken the video game world by storm, and much like Fortnite, many believe that it will never die out.
