For the fourth time, LCA plays a traditional power house in Danville, who won the state championship last year. The Admirals beat LCA twice last year: once by 22 points, and the other by a staggering 42 points. LCA will be looking to beat Danville, so that they can get at least one more home game. Last week, the offense was not itself against Somerset, being scoreless for the first time since 2011. The Eagles look for a bounce back week against the Admirals whom have given up 192 points to LCA’s total 219 points. The LCA defense looked strong, however because they gave up 0 points through the first 2 quarters and most of the 3rd. Not into moral victories, we asked junior Drew Long, what he thought of the game. He said, “we should have 100% beat them” And he is correct, if you ask anyone else on the football team.  Junior Aaron Bolling added, “we should have won, but i don’t even know.”

LCA fights for another home game this Friday at 7:30 at Danville.

About the Writer
Dustin Wheatley, Staff Writer

Dustin is a junior who describes himself as a “slightly above average football player with the IQ of one.” He adds that he often says he lives in his brother’s “shadow.” Dustin has attended LCA since the start of his freshman year.  Some call him as “Crusty Dusty.” Currently, he wears a cast which he ruined when he ran outside in the rain because he left his car lights on all day.
